Running Out of Gas: How the Brain Dies with Age
Memory fades as people age.
Sometimes this means that awful diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's can occur.
And scientists may just have figured out why – giving rise to a new way to stop them.
An Old Car Running Out of Gas
The reason for the brain’s decay lies in mitochondria (tiny organelles within a cell) – which acts as “power stations”, converting food into chemical energy for the cells to use1.
While aging doesn’t affect the mitochondria levels in other parts of the body, the same cannot be said of the brain.
Research done by Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, California, discovered that the older the person, the less energy the mitochondria produce.
As energy production declines, they fail to keep up with the brain's requirements. This results in the cells being taxed beyond their limits.
Dr. Jerome Mertens, a stem cell biologist at Salk Institute, compared it to a worn-out motor vehicle.
“If you have an old car with a bad engine that sits in your garage every day, it doesn't matter,” he said. “But if you are commuting with that car, the engine becomes a big problem.”2

This makes the brain more prone to degenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
Neither of these conditions have a cure. They affect most people over the age of 65, and slowly destroy a person from the inside out, taking away memory, thinking skills, and the ability to perform basic, everyday tasks.
The key to preventing them lies in the mitochondria, and thankfully there is a way to prevent it getting damaged.
The Key to Minimise The Risk Of Diseases
There is a nutrient that can offer protection from cell damage and death.
Reduced levels of this is responsible for various diseases in every organ in the human body and when levels of it dips too low, mitochondria function is impaired, putting the brain at risk of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, among others2.
The name of the nutrient is glutathione.
Flood the Body with Glutathione
There is a clinically-proven way to flood the body with glutathione.
A way that will keep diseases like Alzheimer’s at bay…
And the best part is that it can also:
- Supercharge energy levels...
- Increase mental clarity...
- Decrease heart disease risk by 80%...
- Rebuild cells "protective coating"...
